An increasingly important part of Rimper’s activity is the sector of structural reinforcements and modifications.
The use of carbon fibre, a polymer derived from graphite in its various composites (fabrics, mesh, sheets, rods), covers a primary sector for highly advanced construction. The composites made from carbon fibre, epoxy resins and other materials, offer increased resistance to steel but lighten its weight and eliminate corrosion problems.
This technology is used to reinforce buildings made from concrete, masonry, steel or wood; it is also used for structural modifications and to improve their load capacity and safety level.
Thanks to the consulting activity of in-house engineers, Rimper offers professionals a simple calculation system using IT support.
